New engine changes for 2012 include, revised cylinder skirt, revised cylinder head, new CDi mapping and carburetion settings, a revised powervalve drive unit, new gearbox selector forks, revised clutch pressure plate and clutch plate material, revised ignition cover material. Other changes include new fork a setting and a new shock absorber option, new headlight assembly and a new speedometer unit.

TM Racing 'Factory' rear shock absorber, Marzocchi 50mm forks, billet machined aluminium hubs laced to anodised Excel rims, billet machine aluminium triple clamps with damped handlebar mounting, oversize taper handlebar, oversize 'wave' braking discs, HGS exhaust system and is EU compliant for road use.
